Requested Gift

So, a lady at work is retiring and, when asked what she would like as a goodbye gift by someone, said she'd like a necklace she can wear as she's allergic to most metals. Next step, they came to me!
So here's what I've just spent the last hour doing while chatting wedding talk with my friend (the bride to be) over skype. I'm sure this should have taken a lot less time, but I kept messing up my pattern due to not concentrating on this and going, ooooh I like that one at wedding things!

So here it is and a close up below. Hope you like :)

Skullz

We've been creating some resin shaped skulls with glitter, sequins, buttons etc! Hope you like!

Finger Puppets!

We made some finger puppets out of felt, googly eyes and some pom poms! They also have tails, but you can't see them in these photo's!

Domino Jewellery!

I've been making domino jewellery!

The top picture has dominoes that have been decoupaged using deco-patch papers.

Kilt Pin Brooch

I put together this kilt pin brooch from a button set I bought from the expensive Hobbycraft! I love the bead underneath the skull and crossbone button!

I used alphabet beads to spell out 'Love' and have put some silver chain throughout.  I'm quite proud of it and will be wearing it to work tomorrow!

Stuff people have already taken off my hands

So, these were the things I've learnt how to make over the last month or so. I had no idea on how to do this stuff until then. So far, people have liked them and they've gone to good home :D

Look, she contributes too!!

Well hello all. Yes, it turns out that Aimee is not the only one who will ever add anything to this. She just will do most of it as she's not insane enough to be doing this along side singing in a barbershop chorus and quartet, being on the committee for said chorus and the committee for a adult disability activity group as well as helping run the activity night. Oh and yes, I do work full time! So Aimee suggested that due to this, my branch of this adventure should be called 'Insanity'! I'm going with that :D

Right so, here is my first offering of what i've made. Hope you like :) Most are up for sale too, so if you like the look get in contact. If it's gone I can always make something similar for you. All the ones below are between £4-10.

Fridge Magnets...

What to do with left over jar lids?

Well we made some fridge magnets!! We ripped up some small red coloured pieces of crepe paper, and glued them in a circle until the whole space was filled.  We then dabbed some pva glue all over and sprinkled pink glitter over the top.  Then we decided to stick one  paperchase enchantment sticker in the middle and some self adhesive magnetic tape to the back, this is how it turned out!

Today I was at Craft Central all day long!

I made cards!

The pictures aren't very good but they are a pyramid decoupage set from a range called hugs and honey!
